DESCRIPTION

Total: 700. New members welcomed. Must be active, reserve, dependent or retired U.S. or Allied military or active or retired DOD employees entitled to MWR privileges. Annual dues $30 for single, $40 family. No monthly dues.

Facilities: NYCSD is located on San Diego Bay at Naval Base Coronado’s Fiddler’s Cove Marina (3205 Hwy. 75), just 2 miles south of the historic Hotel Del Coronado on the Silver Strand. Fiddler’s Cove Marina provides overnight slips for reciprocal yacht clubs at a small fee by advanced arrangement. Contact club officer for sponsorship at Fiddler’s Cove.

Comments: Clubhouse and party patio. Active sail racing and social programs. Best Wednesday night races on the bay. NYCSD supports Navy sailing programs. The Fiddler’s Cove Marina operates boat slips and RV sites. Rental boats available for MWR eligible/qualified members and guests.
