Facilities: The Newport Sea Base Yacht Club office is located in the second story of the recently rebuilt state-of-the-art waterfront Newport Sea Base.

Membership: The club is currently accepting applications for membership. Membership in the Newport Sea Base Yacht Club is open to the youth of Orange County, subject to the approval of the Governing Committee.

Junior Program: Strong year-round junior program open to all youth in the community (ages 8-18) sailing and racing both dinghy and keelboats. Full-time junior staff onsite.

Comments: The NSBYC is a sailing organization designed to promote year-round sailing and racing for juniors and young adults in dinghies and keelboats and bridge the gap between junior, high school, collegiate, and big boat racing. The NSBYC is affiliated with the nonprofit Newport Sea Base, a community youth maritime center. The Newport Sea Base offers after-school and weekend classes year-round, plus a summer sessions beginning in June and ending in August. Go sailing in Walker Bays, Vanguard Prams, CFJs, 420s, Harbor 20s, and larger keelboats. Adult volunteers are needed to support the Newport Sea Base programs.
