Your Spiny Lobster Report Card must be returned by April 30, 2017 following the close of the season. A $20 non-return fee will be charged when purchasing next seasons lobster report card if you do not return by the deadline. nn Rockfish season opened March 1st in our US waters. These species may only be taken or possessed in waters less than 360 feet (60 fathoms) deep. The daily bag and possession limit is 10 fish in combination of all species per person. nnStarting in 2017, anglers will be allowed to retain canary rockfish for the first time in more than a decade. Canary rockfish was declared overfished in 2000, but the population rebuilt to healthy levels quicker than anticipated based on a combination of conservation efforts and restrictive management.
