Total: 250 members – 15% power, 85% sail. Facilities: Bar open Fri. nights and race days. Dining room open for special events. WiFi internet connection available. Dry storage. 1000# hoist -150 ft. guest dock or moorings for max.10 days at $20 – $60. Six moorings available to visitors. Pump out station available. Our dock is often unavailable on weekend daytimes during club activities but we never turn anyone away. Transients are invited to participate in races, either as crew or with their boat.
Membership: Looking for members who are active in boating. 2 sponsors needed. Initiation: $750/full. Annual dues: $250/full, $50/junior. Junior program: Open to non-members.
Comments: Morro Bay YC hosts 450 to 600 transient yachts at their dock each year providing dock or mooring, showers and a little peace and quiet in our little (delightful) town.
