Associate Club of the Year Trophy

IMPORTANT DATES

1. 1. 1. January 15, 2026 – Submit club Yearbook data to SCYA, including club COY coordinator
      2. January 18, 2026 – Attend the SCYA Installation & Awards Ceremony
      3. January 31, 2026 – Attend the SCYA COY Seminar (save the date; register when Zoom invite is sent out)
      4. March 1, 2026 – Remit club dues to SCYA
      5. November 7, 2026 – Submit COY Binder for 2026

2026 CHANGES

• • • • Racing and Cruising Club of the Year have separate criteria/Deeds of Gift and require separate binders.  
      • Interim clubs are encouraged to compete in their eligible membership category (see COY criteria for guidelines.) 
      • Electronic submission of binders is prohibited.
      • The November 2026 SCYA General Meeting will NOT counted in the event of a tie (refer to Tie-Breaker Formula).
      • Criteria #6 – Junior Program: Clubs may partner with another SCYA member organization with a viable Junior Program.
      • Criteria #10 –  Club Cruising Program: Clubs in all categories will receive a maximum of 4 points.
      • Criteria #12 – Championship Regatta Hosting – Clubs in all categories may participate and receive maximum points.
