SCYA extended its reach to include a club in Ensenada, Norte California, Mexico. The members of SCYA approved granting Special Membership to Club Nautico Baja at the July general membership meeting. The club is a civil association established in 1999. The Club is also affiliated to the Mexican Federation Sailing and the Mexican Sports Confederation.nThe club is based in Ensenada Mexico and has an active social, educational and racing program. It holds regular regattas throughout the year. This year 2 of their boats had third place finishes in the Newport to Ensenada Race.
