Sail Number Fee – A one-time fee of either:
- US Sailing Member 5 digit sail number: $125
- Non-Member 5 digit sail number: $150
1, 2 , 3 & 4 DIGIT Sail Numbers are assigned by US Sailing directly. There is no fee for transfer of ownership. If you have sold your boat, or moved out of the area, or if it has been destroyed, please advise the SCYA Service Center.

US Sailing Regional Areas
US SAILING sail numbers for Area “J” are issued by SCYA
SCYA is an officially verified organization of US Sailing verified to assign numbers for Area ‘J’, as specified in Appendix G of the Racing Rules of Sailing. Sail Numbers are provided to boats owned by members in good standing of yacht clubs affiliated with the Southern California Yachting Association.
Purchasing a US Sailing Number is a two step process. First fill in the information form below (Steps 1-3), CLICK SUBMIT, then go to the payment page. Your submission will not be considered until payment is received.
