The Southern California Yachting Association was organized in 1921 to provide a much-needed communication, educational, and organizational service to the yachting community in Southern California and Arizona. Our objectives are to provide a forum for sharing ideas, identifying and engaging in governmental issues that affect recreational boating, promoting events, acknowledging excellence, and providing a social and educational platform to build a stronger boating community.

SCYA Old Timers Meeting/Luncheon
September 14, 2024 – It’s time again to round up all your Commodores and gather once again to tell about the biggest fish that got away, or how you managed to blow the lead in the Sailboat Race to Nowhere and other tall tales. The “Old Timers” trophies will be presented to the club with Most Staff Commodores present and club with the Highest % of Living Staff Commodores present.
