SCYA 2024 INSTALLATION LUAU WEEKEND!

Event Registration Closes January 9th

Commodore Robert Menar and First Lady Cookie Webb of Westlake Yacht Club have offered to host the SCYA 2024 Installation at their beautiful Club on Private Westlake Lake.

Please share this special Installation evening with the Officers and Board of Directors of SCYA along with the Awardees of SCYA’s coveted awards. We have events planned for Friday evening and Saturday afternoon, stay for the weekend!

FRIDAY
From 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM the Installation weekend will begin on Friday night January 12th at Westlake Yacht Club’s no host Happy Hour by invitation of the Commodore and First Lady. The Commodore, First Lady, and incoming SCYA Commodore Kathy St. Amant invite you to join us at the bar for a relaxed evening of socializing, then stay for no host dining at a local eatery.

SATURDAY
From 2 PM to 3:30 PM ***WEATHER PERMITTING*** we will join Westlake Yacht Club members for boat rides on the lake.

From 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM no host cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served in WYC’s bar to begin the official event. During the cocktail hour South Coast Corinthian Yacht Club’s UKULELE BAND will be playing for your enjoyment. SCYA Officers will have their official photos taken.

At 6:00 PM guests will be seated. During the evening, SCYA officers will be installed for 2024 and the SCYA Awards for 2023 will be delivered to the recipients. After dinner Dave Zaremba & Kevin Slagg will provide the music to get you singing and dancing, cutting the rug. We will party at WYC until 10PM.
