Speakers: 

Lisa Phillips (NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard) and Casey Oswant (NWS San Diego) will be presenting on changes the National Weather Service (NWS) is making to enhance the Coast Waters Forecast (CWF). After May 22, users can expect to see detailed wave information, including height, direction, and period of individual wave systems in the CWF. These changes will help standardize and enhance forecast information found in the CWF, so no matter where you are boating along the California coast your NWS forecast will use the same wave detail and terms.
