SCYA Midwinter Regatta 2017 Announced

29 November 2016…. The SCYA Midwinter Regatta, an 88-year yachting tradition is a chance for sailors to test their skills against the best skippers in the West Coast. It also provides an opportunity to experience the thrill of competitive racing for the first time in a name event in less formal cruising classes or as crew in one of the many boats participating.

The Regatta, one of the Nation’s largest sailing competitions, will be held over two-weekends on February 11 and 12, and February 18 and 19,  offering more than 25 venues, for over 600 competing boats in 100 classes, and more than 2,500 sailors participating.  For an up-to-date list of Midwinter Regatta Host Clubs or other information, visit scyamidwinterregatta.org

The Southern California Yachting Association, now in its 96th year of service, facilitates member club communications, sponsors a variety of boat safety seminars, club management training, legislative representation, honor awards and much more.
