Last chance as Recreational Lobster season continues until March 16, 2016. Go get some of those tasty bugs.  Make sure you read the regulations. Your Spiny Lobster Report Card must be returned by April 30, 2016 following the close of the season. A $20 non-return fee will be charged when purchasing next seasons lobster report card if you do not return by the deadline.

Remember Rockfish season opened March 1st in our US waters. These species may only be taken or possessed in waters less than 360 feet (60 fathoms) deep. Check the ocean fishing regulations!

As of February 11, 2016, the recreational Dungeness fishery along the mainland coast South of 38° 00' N Latitude (Point Reyes) is open. The recreational rock crab fishery along the mainland coast South of 35° 40' N Latitude (Piedras Blancas Light Station) is open. The recreational rock crab fishery will remain closed north of 35° 40' N Latitude (Piedras Blancas Light Station) and in state waters around Santa Miguel, Santa Rosa and Santa Cruz Islands
