Facilities: CBYC’s spacious Clubhouse overlooks their 180 + slip marina. The second floor offers a dining/meeting room, a large member bar, and a wraparound terrace which is available for private events and overlooks the west channel and marina. Cabrillo Beach Yacht Club’s new dry storage facility holds 140 boats in a mast-up area. There are two hoists for up to 6,000 lbs. and a floating launch ramp. CBYC’s Clubhouse is open Wednesday through Sunday with bar hours in the evenings. Slips and Guest Dock available, reciprocity includes two nights free. Call Marina Manager for information.
Membership: CBYC offers activities for power & sail boat owners, as well as social members. An extensive year-round Junior Sailing Program is led by Certified Sailing Instructors. Please contact the Clubhouse for more information regarding membership and junior sailing opportunities.
Comments: Located on the lee side of the Palos Verdes Peninsula and overlooking LA Harbor, CBYC has grown steadily since its start in 1932. The Club’s objective is to organize, promote and sponsor yachting and yacht racing in and about the waters of Southern California.
